This is a lovely vintage Stratton 'convertible' compact  in the 'Princess' shape.

The lid of the compact has been designed with a linen effect on top of which sits a pretty floral painting design signed by Suzy Seciav d'amis LPacvost. The reverse side has a pattern made up of vertical lines with small arrow nicks pointing to the left, with the 'Stratton Made in England' logo in the centre.

The inside of the compact is as new with the base housing the self release powder section that holds the original sifter for loose powder, the pink powder puff and the original paper instructions.

Overall the compact is made from silver tone metal on the outside and gold tone on the inside, all of which shines like new and the internal and external hinges are all in excellent working order.

Very good vintage condition despite the absence of the original box and pouch.
