Vintage Powder Compact - Flowers & Bows
Vintage powder compact flowers and bows.
A pretty vintage powder compact with flowers and bows from the 1950s era. The round powder compact is made of gold tone metal with a sweet transfer print decoration to the lid featuring sprays of flowers tied with blue ribbon bows. The inside of the lid has a good clear mirror and the base contains the powder well for loose powder with a powder mesh sifter and small powder puff. The inside looks to be unused. The reverse of the base has a ridged ring design that looks to be machine engraved. The closing catch and hinge are in good working order, however there is a very small amount of surface damage to the hinge and 1cm of the back bottom edge of the outer ridge. This is so small that it does not distract from the powder compact being a pretty, decorative and usable vintage powder compact to add to your handbag accessories.
