Historic Royal Palaces Fragrance Diffuser - Rose Garden
The Rose Garden Historic Royal Palaces reed diffuser is a modern way in which to scent a room without using candles, smoke or flames.
Fragrance: Rose Garden - A much-loved favourite in many gardens, the rose provides beauty and fragrance in abundance. Long associated with romantic love, its powerful symbolism endures to this day. Hampton Court Palace’s magnificent Rose Garden includes English roses, tea roses, rambling roses and wild roses, and during early summer, the heady scent of the blooms carries through the air across the entire palace.
The illustration used on this design has been inspired by a combination of architectural elements from the palaces. It incorporates aspects of the vaulted stone ceiling of Anne Boleyn’s Gatehouse. Rebuilt by Henry VIII after he acquired Hampton Court Palace from Cardinal Wolsey; it is boldly decorated at its centre with the Tudor Rose – the badge of his new dynasty. The design is also inspired by replica medieval floor tiles from the chapel area of the Wakefield Tower at the Tower of London.
